A Lithography (from Ancient Greek λίθος, lithos ‘stone’, and γράφειν, graphein ‘to write’) is a planographic method of printing based on the immiscibility of oil and water. This one in particular was produced during the 17th century and depicted a group of sicilians fleeing from an eruption of the volcano Etna.
